We collect only the data needed to deliver reminders and price alerts through your preferred channels.

  • Email address — required for account creation and login via magic links.
  • Phone number — optional, provided when you enable SMS notifications.
  • Telegram chat ID — optional, stored when you link your Telegram account for notifications.
  • Product URLs — the web addresses you submit for price watches.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card numbers.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used for the following purposes:

  • Sending reminders and notifications via your chosen channel (email, SMS, or Telegram).
  • Processing subscription payments through Stripe.
  • Extracting current prices from product URLs you submit for price watches.
  • Maintaining account security and preventing abuse.

Third-Party Services

We share specific data with the following sub-processors to deliver our service. Each receives only the minimum data required for its purpose.

AWS SES (Amazon Simple Email Service)

Receives your email address and message content. Used for sending verification emails, login links, and reminder notifications.

AWS SNS (Amazon Simple Notification Service)

Receives your phone number and message text. Used for SMS verification codes and reminder notifications when you enable SMS as a notification channel.

Stripe

Receives your email address and payment details. Used for subscription billing and payment processing. Stripe handles all card data directly — our application never stores or processes card numbers.

OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini)

Receives stripped HTML content from product URLs (no personal data is included). Used for extracting current prices and identifying CSS selectors for price watches when other extraction methods are unavailable.

Telegram Bot API

Receives your Telegram chat ID and message text. Used for sending reminder notifications when you link your Telegram account and choose Telegram as a notification channel.

Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract performance — delivering the reminders and price alerts you set up, and processing billing for your subscription.
  • Legitimate interest — maintaining account security, preventing abuse, and improving service reliability.
  • Consent — sending notifications via optional channels like SMS and Telegram, which you explicitly enable.

Cookies

We use a single cookie: PHPSESSID, the standard PHP session cookie. This cookie is strictly necessary for authenticated functionality and is set only when you log in. Public pages do not set any cookies.

We do not use analytics cookies, tracking cookies, or any third-party cookies. Because our only cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function, it is exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive.

Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active.
  • Deleted reminders are soft-deleted (marked as deleted) and excluded from active queries.
  • Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax law.
  • Event logs are rotated periodically and do not contain personal data beyond email addresses in error logs.
